We were staying in Dundee for several days visiting our daughter so were able to try multiple restaurants. Surprisingly, for a small-ish town, we found several good to really good restaurants. Out of all the ones we tried, Milas was our favorite. We could tell this was a good spot the first time we tried to eat here as there was a long wait to get in. Made reservations for a few days later - definitely recommend doing that.
The food was really, really good here, really well prepared. I got the Lamb & Chicken Shish, which was excellent. The lamb was really good and prepared perfectly. Another person in our party got the Lamb Shish, and they really liked that. Another had a Falafel dish, which they really liked. For dessert, we had baklava - also very good. Also had good wines to choose from.
Service was good here, as well. Servers were quick to refill our waters or additional drink orders. Food came out very quickly.
Overall, again, our favorite meal in Dundee and definitely one of the best meals we had in our month in Scotland and Ireland. Highly recommend.
We were in for a very quick meal before heading to show.
Nice warm welcome, when we came in. We were quickly seated and the drinks orders were taken.
The restaurant is really nice and comfy, you're not sitting too close to neighbouring tables. The menu itself isn't one of those massive "we do everything" ones, it covers all the bases. The meals came pretty quickly and the 5 of us in the party were delighted with the food.
For a group of 5 people, our personal choices were limited as we chose two falafels and 3 lamb and chicken grills, we should have been more adventurous as the food was dynamite! Both the lamb and chicken grills were succulent and very tasty. Big shout out to the side salad, it's not something I usually eat, but this time it was lovely. The falafel was great too.
We'll definitely return here the next time we're in Dundee
Recently tried the lasagna and chicken wings at this restaurant and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. The portions were generous, leaving us more than satisfied.
The baklava was another highlight, fresh and juicy. However, the fresh juices didn't quite meet our expectations, as they tasted more like standard bottled juices rather than freshly squeezed.
The menu and prices need to be updated here as few items had wrong pricing on menu card as well. But overall, it’s a great spot to enjoy hearty, flavorful meals.
Excellent Turkish cuisine tasted. The lamb skewers and lamb hearts is perfectly done. Not so much about on the soups. The bread/pitas is excellent.
Absolutely loved this Turkish restaurant.
We had a group of 12. All ordered a la carte. All 12 meals delivered together. Most impressive kitchen!!!
Food was excellent. If you haven't tried Turkish beer... you should. Who knew!?!
This is a hidden gem and well worth your time and appetite!
